I’m here to help you discover answers for yourself.
I’m here to support, guide, and introduce you
to the person you most want to meet… yourself.

Jordan DeWitt, MA, LMFT, LCAS

I help those individuals out there who may be grappling with self acceptance and identity, those who may be experiencing stagnation in life, and individuals and couples who may be struggling with the complexities of relationships.

Stuck? Feeling overwhelmed? Searching for more? You’re not alone in these struggles. I’ve spent my whole career helping people find answers. I’m here to help you discover answers for yourself. I approach therapy as a collaborative process. I’m here to support, guide, and introduce you to the person you most want to meet… yourself.

If you are seeking change in your life, or looking to explore your emotions and thoughts, I am a solution-based clinician and I would love to talk to you. If you want to learn and begin to express your true self with others, I am here for you, and ready to help.

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and a licensed clinical addiction specialist. I have experience working with individuals and couples in a community mental health clinic setting in rural areas as well as in private practice. A main focus of my practice has been working with members of the LGBTQ+ population individually who may be working through life stressors both related to sexuality and not. My approach often centers around the language used to talk to ourselves and others and being able to frame that language to better fit with our values and goals in life.

My ideal client would be those that are seeking a space to be themselves. Someone who needs patience as well as gentle nudging to explore life experiences and their impacts. Someone who needs the space to cry for those circumstances as well as held space to find the humor and joy hidden within their pain. I work well with those in the LGBTQ+ community and those individuals and couples that may experience a level of marginalization in their life that inevitably influences their emotional well-being.

What I love about my job:

The most rewarding part of my job is being able to connect with people. I believe that there can be a lot of healing in just being able to make a connection with someone else who holds a nonjudgmental space for you. I view it as a privilege and honor to listen to others stories and hold that for them in order to facilitate change.

“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.”
-Maya Angelou-

On a Personal Note:

I enjoy baking, especially different types of bread. I enjoy reading, mostly sci-fi/fantasy novels and classic literature. I also enjoy gardening and houseplants.
